I miss them all so very much

I often find myself overcome with gratitude for all those people who came before me.
Men and women who struggled and worked to make a safe secure place for themselves and their families. I did not know them all. And I did not know the ones I knew as well as I would have liked. There are questions I would ask today that I did not ask when I was younger. There are stories my grandmother told me that were never completed. They are all gone now. I miss them.
I remember them. I am filled with the overwhelming hope that some bright morning, by the grace and mercy of God, we will all be reunited and share together in that great reunion, the reconciliation of all things in Christ.
